Family owned and operated by my wife and I Unique Marine is located in Poughkeepsie off of route 44. We are a short drive from all the local marinas, yacht clubs and roughly 10 minutes from the Mid Hudson bridge. My experience around boats has basically been my lifetime. Starting at the age of 5 my life's passion has always been the water and boats. Growing up I worked around the marina cleaning boats, working with my father on our own boat, which escalated into working for marinas, local dealers, starting a mobile repair service and eventually owing and operating my own shop. Still to this day if I am not at work I am on the water as much as possible. Being a boat owner and having dealt with different marinas and boat yards over the years I understand what is expected from a customers stand point and strive for nothing less than what I would expect on my own vessel. Experience is key and cannot be replaced by anything else. Our company offers repair services, maintenance, tune ups, check overs, spring service/summerization, winterizations, shrink wrap, and more at our location plus dockside service in the area. We have a fully stocked ship store which is open in the spring normal business hours April, May, & June. Outside of these months our entire business is appointment or by chance only. We offer hauling services on our state of the art hydraulic air ride trailer (the newest and nicest in the area) and can handle power boats to 38ft. Our trailer gives us the capability to either haul you out of the water and set you on stands or lift you from stands and launch or relocate your boat. This trailer also gives us the capability to offer winter storage of large cruisers with no trailer at our location in Poughkeepsie. Space is limited so please reserve your winter storage space today! We specialize in the hauling, winterization, shrink wrap, and storage of large cruisers with multiple complex systems that need to be properly winterized to ensure a trouble free start up in the spring. Our trailer also allows us to offer emergency haul out service, plus prop changes and minor services at the ramp. Unique marine is a Venture and Sea Lion new trailer dealer plus we buy and sell used boats, trailers, cars, quads, dirt bikes, campers and more.
